This workshop is a recommended precursor to any of the the White Wines of France regional series.

In this introductory workshop, you will savor: an introduction to tasting wine, an overview of the French white wine regions, and an overview of how to decipher a French wine label. And of course, it will end with a tasting! Now you have a reason to look forward to Monday.  : )

The duration (including a relaxed, unhurried tasting) will be around 1.5 hours.

About the instructor: Inspired by visits to vineyards in many countries over the years, Laura has a growing interest in wine, and particularly loves the relationship between wine and region. Formal experience with wine trainings include: A wine workshop in Bordeaux, France (2017), a four-part, live webinar series on a variety of topics related to wine and viticulture, Vigne et Vin (2019) through the Université de Tours, France, and earned a wine tasting certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), globally recognized as the international standard in wine and spirit education.
