FReNCH FOR TRAVELERS I: 4 weeks, Monday & Wednesdays 8-8:50PM EDT:

Course description: Do you have a trip planned to France and wish to learn enough French to be comfortable ordering in a restaurant, getting around, and asking for information?  This informative yet relaxed course is for you! While this course is designed with the traveler in mind, it is suitable for anyone wishing to have an introduction to the French language and the culture of France.  

We will cover basic verb conjugations, vocabulary and phrases which are especially useful when traveling, and how to ask simple questions.  We will talk about some cultural differences between the French and Americans, so that you might have greater understanding (and blend in better!) when you travel.  

We will also talk about some of the different regions of France, points of interest, and food and beverage!  This is part 1 of a 2-part class.  Part 2 is optional and begins Feb. 10 on the same days/times, for an additional four weeks.  Registration for Part 2 is separate and will open in MARCH 2025.

Class size is limited to 6 students. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON FEB. 14.
